URL Manager Pro

URL Manager Pro is the most powerful bookmark manager on the Macintosh. Its features are:

• Integration : You have access to your bookmarks from your browser's menu bar and from the Mac OS X Dock.
• Documents : Your bookmarks are stored in URL Manager Pro bookmark documents, which you can store and manipulate in the normal Macintosh way. No need to hunt for your bookmarks in preferences folders of browsers. You can make automatic periodic saves and make copies of bookmark documents on backup devices on each save.

Sound Sculptor II

Sound Sculptor II is a sound editor with overdubbing capabilities. It plays eight tracks of stereo sound with precise control of volume and pan. It records sounds in mono or stereo with input gain control. The multitrack mixer has level meters and controls for solo, mute, boost, volume, pan, and pan delay for each track. A variable-speed shuttle allows the user to scan through sound files at up to 32 times the normal tempo. Its effects include chorus, echo, equalizer, filter, flange, oscillator, resample, reverb, reverse, slow tempo, fade in, and fade out. It has envelopes and LFOs for amplitude, pitch, resonant filter, and more (envelopes are for controlling effects over time; LFOs are for vibrato and tremolo effects). It also has pencil, line, and eraser tools. It opens and saves in AIFF, WAV, Sound Designer II, and SoundEdit files. Registration is required to save sounds. Version 2.4.1 fixes bugs and is now compatible with Mac OS 8.6

DragThing is the original dock designed to tidy up your Macintosh desktop. Simply drag an application from the Finder onto an empty square in a dock and then drag documents onto it as normal. Click a docked application to launch it or bring it to the front.

In addition, the docks can contain files, folders, disks and servers, and there is also an option to display the currently running processes in a special dock.

You can have as many different docks as you would like, with very flexible settings for each one. You can choose the size of icons displayed, whether the names of the items are shown, and much more. Default Folder adds popup menu buttons to all Open and Save dialogs (one of the menus is shown in the image below). You just click on the buttons to go to your favorite and recently used folders, manage the folders and files shown in the list, and make changes to your settings.
