Macintosh Basics

What: This meeting takes a look at how to operate a Macintosh computer from the perspective of a new user or someone shifting over from a Windows computing environment.

Application Workshop

What: Each month’s meeting will look at one particular application or topic. These will generally be of interest to fewer members than our main meetings, but all members who are interested in the topic are welcome to attend. We may spread some topics over two or three months if they are too big to cover in a single meeting.

WelMac Meet & Greet

What: WelMac like to get together and meet existing, new or prospective members and talk about their Mac Life. If you can't normally come out in the evenings for a meeting - or want to bring the whole family, then this is for you!

WelMac and the NMG hold a bi-annual meet and greet session where members can come, and bring their Mac, their gadgets or Apple related gear and also their families.

We run a free form concurrent demo session where you come and setup your gear in a corner. You can take a look at what others are doing - maybe share a quick tutorial or tips you've learnt. We've had gaming sessions, iPod/iPhone hacking, bluetooth tutorials, 1 minute movie making sessions and more.

To keep the kids interested, we'll show a Pixar movie - or some short movies (bring a pillow), and keep you all fed, entertained and relaxed.

If you would like to attend this meeting, please RSVP - and bring your gear, and a plate of food or drink. Kids, bring a pillow to sit on!
